2023 Nissan Altima vs 2023 Nissan Sentra
The 2023 Nissan Altima and Sentra are high-quality sedans that offer plenty of space for passengers and cargo. However, there are noticeable differences in their performance and design.
Performance
The 2023 Altima comes with three engine options, offering up to 248 horsepower, making it a powerful mid-size AWD sedan. On the other hand, the compact Sentra prioritizes efficient performance and precise handling with its 149 horsepower 2.0L 4-cylinder engine. If you want all-wheel drive, the 2.0L 4-cylinder engine is only available on the 2023 Altima. The Altima's VC-Turbo engine also contributes to its impressive performance.
Appearance
Each sedan's V-motion grille is distinct, giving them a unique style. The Altima's V-motion grille is wider and has more cladding, while the Sentra's grille is narrower, suiting its compact size. The Altima also has larger wheel options, including 19" machine-finished aluminum alloy wheels on the SR VC-Turbo trim.
Features
The 2023 Altima offers up to 8-way power adjustable seating for the driver's seat, while the Sentra has a 6-way adjustable driver's seat. Leather-appointed seats are available on both models, but unique options like Sport leather-appointed seats are only available on the Altima. The Sentra has quilted leather-appointed seats confined to its interior. Both sedans have a 7" advanced Drive-Assist display available, but the Altima also offers an optional Nissan Connect 12.3" color display with multi-touch control. Safety features include standard Nissan Advanced airbag systems and zone body construction. Lane departure warnings are standard on the base model of the Sentra and optional on the Altima.
