Nissan takes customer satisfaction seriously. Therefore, when you buy a new Nissan, you can drive it home with the added assurance that it will be covered by a comprehensive factory warranty program. Nissan vehicles have different warranties that cover various components of the car. Warranties are included for the tires, mechanical system, powertrain, and more. Additional protection packages called MPP plans are also available for your Nissan. MPP plans are offered for Nissan vehicles regardless of age.

New Vehicle Limited Warranty

Nissan's New Vehicle Warranty is a comprehensive warranty covering the cost of replacement parts, repairs, and all labor expenses associated with covered components and accessories. The New Vehicle Limited Warranty protects your vehicle for 36 months or up to 36,000 miles, whichever comes first.

Corrosion Coverage

For up to 60 months, Nissan provides corrosion protection for new models. The Corrosion Coverage plan will cover replacement or repairs for body panels made of sheet metal that develop perforation, or rust damage, during the time that the warranty is in effect. There is no mileage limit on this warranty.

Powertrain Warranty

The Powertrain Warranty covers the cost of repairing or replacing the engine, transmission, driveshafts, head gaskets, transaxle, and more. Nissan's safety system, which includes the airbags and airbag controls, is also included in the Powertrain Warranty. The warranty is valid for original components and is effective for 60 months or up to 60,000 miles.

Emissions Control Coverage

The California Emission Performance warranty will remedy any issue in your vehicle which causes it to fail a Smog Check inspection during the first 36 months or 50,000 miles, whichever occurs first. The California Emission Defects warranty will repair or replace any defective emission-related part. This warranty is also for 36 months or 50,000 miles, whichever comes first. Seat Belt Limited Warranty

Nissan's Seat Belt Limited Warranty provides coverage for original seat belts and their related components that fail to function properly within the first ten years that you own the car. The parts must break under regular use or be defective to start with to qualify for coverage through the warranty. The labor required for repairs is also performed at no cost.

Tire Warranty

Nissan's new vehicles also include a tire warranty. However, the coverage varies by tire manufacturer. Please refer to your owner's manual for specific details.

MPP Plans

While Nissan provides competitive and comprehensive coverage for its new cars through factory warranties, Cerritos Nissan also offers additional coverage through supplemental MPP plans. MPP plans include lease wear protection, GAP insurance, extended service contracts, and warranty plans for older Nissan models.
