If you’re interested in healthy eating and conscious living, don’t miss the second-annual SoCal VegFest later this month.

Whether you’re a current vegan or someone who’s curious about this plant-based dietary perspective, you’ll have an opportunity to learn more about the lifestyle. Plus, VegFest includes several happenings, such as yoga and meditation workshops, film screenings and Halloween activities.

VegFest has grown this year, now encompassing TWO DAYS of educational and fun-packed events. There are numerous guest speakers and interesting demonstrations, including those of the culinary kind. Check out Jason Wrobel’s method to cooking up killer grilled asparagus with hollandaise sauce, watch Amber St. Peter whip up a healthy version of fried zucchini fritters and more.

The festival also includes live music, activities for children at the Kid’s Village, and a marketplace where you’ll find a variety of cruelty-free products. In addition, several food vendors will be onsite. Plus, there will be opportunities to sample free food and beverages.

VegFest is taking place at Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa on Oct. 29-30. To learn more about it, visit the festival website here.
