Tacos & Beer 5K Run and Festival in Long Beach

Get on your sombreros and running shoes for the Tacos & Beer 5K Run! This unique event combines a Tacos & Beer Festival with a 5K that’ll help you burn off some calories before you indulge in Cinco de Mayo delights.

During the run, there’s entertainment along the course to keep you pepped up; and following the race, plenty of entertainment is also in store. Each runner gets two free tacos and a beer, as well as a crafted medal.

In addition, the Tacos & Beer Festival includes a BAJA Beer Garden, live mariachi music, bands, DJs, a mechanical bull, piñata breaking and even a costume contest fiesta – so don’t be afraid to wear your wildest garb! Many runners go dressed in serape, chili pepper costumes, folklorico skirts and more.

To participate in the Tacos & Beer 5K, it’s $64.99 plus an extra $2 if you would like chip timing. Additional fees apply for race-day packet pickup and onsite parking.

The 5K (3.1 miles) takes place on Saturday, May 6, 2017.
