Fireworks at 9 p.m.

Don’t have plans for the 4th of July? Celebrate your freedom at the Let Freedom Ring Celebration! The 44th annual event is just around the corner and it offers tons of exciting activities and entertainment, including a fantastic fireworks display that’ll illuminate the night sky.

The event also includes live music, a bell-ringing ceremony and rides! You can purchase a wristband to get unlimited rides at the event for only $25 or you can pay per ride. If you want a discount wristband for $20, make sure you pick one up before Friday, June 30, at the Recreation Services Division counter at Cerritos City Hall. For inquires, call (562) 916-1254. Picnics and barbeques are not allowed at the event, but there will be food concessions available.

The fireworks will launch from Cerritos High School at 9 p.m. and you won’t want to miss it. Bring along lawn chairs, low-profile preferably, or blanks to view the show.

The fun kicks off at 4 p.m. Arrive early if you want to snag the best spots for fireworks viewing. To get more details about this and other upcoming events in Cerritos, visit the City of Cerritos recreational services webpage.
