What's New for the 2019 Nissan Frontier?

Rather than make unnecessary changes in 2019, this well-made and loved mid-sized pickup goes into 2019 largely unchanged. A 7" infotainment system with a touchscreen will now come standard on the S and SV trims. The Cayenne Red exterior paint choice will also be available on more trim levels.

Drivers will continue to have the option of adding the Midnight Edition Package that first became available last year. Exterior colors that go along with this package include Glacier White, Gun Metallic, and Magnetic Black. This popular package helps give your Frontier a more dramatic style, with black badging, a black grille, 18-inch gloss black wheels, black outside door handles and mirrors, and black step rails. Drivers can add this package to the Crew Cab SV models with automatic transmissions, both the 4x2 and 4x4 versions.

2019 Frontier Trims & Features

There are 5 different trim levels and an amazing 16 different configurations for this pickup, almost guaranteeing there will be one to suit your needs. Drivers can choose from the S, SV, Desert Runner, Pro-4X, and the SL. Each of these trims has 4x2 and 4x4 options with the exceptions of the Pro-4x, which is always a 4x4, and the Desert Runner, which is always 4x2. There are also king and crew cab options on each trim level, except for the SL, which only comes in a crew cab.

Many interior and exterior features help to make this pickup a great choice. Available interior features include dual-zone climate control, a rearview monitor with Rear Sonar System, and the Rockford Fosgate®-powered audio system featuring ten speakers. You can use those ten speakers to listen to almost anything you want, thanks to the USB input, auxiliary input, and available Sirius XM radio. Drivers with an iPhone can take advantage of the Siri Eyes Free system which allows them to send texts and make calls without taking their attention off of the road.

Exterior features vary from trim level to trim level. Available features include rear privacy glass, a locking tailgate and cargo bed light, front solar-reducing UV glass, fog lights, and automatic headlights.
