What's New For the 2019 Nissan GT-R Model Review

The Nissan GT-R remained unchanged for the 2019 model year. Three out of the four trims have slight price increases. The entry-level Pure trim maintains the same starting price as last year.

The 2019 GT-R is available in four trims. The base level Pure Edition trim comes with the following standard features: ATTESA E-TS® All-Wheel Drive (AWD) with patented independent rear-mounted transaxle, 20-inch Super-lightweight RAYS® forged-alloy wheels, Nissan/Brembo® braking system, Nissan Navigation System, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, AM/FM/CD Audio System with Six Speakers, Speed Sensitive Volume Control, Voice Recognition for Audio and Navigation, Display Commander, SiriusXM Radio, Nissan Intelligent Key with with Push Button Ignition, Nismo Tachometer, Bluetooth Hand-Free Phone System, Homelink Universal Transceiver, Dual-Zone Automatic Temperature Control, In-Cabin Microfilter, power front Windows with One-touch Up and Down, Cruise Control with Steering Wheel Mounted Controls, Leather-Appointed front Seats with Suede Inserts, 8-Way Power Driver Seat, Heated Front Seats, Premium Leather Interior Appointments, Dual individual Rear Seats, and Leather Wrapped Gear Shift and Parking Brake Lever.

The Premium Edition trim offers many of the features found on the Pure trim plus Titanium exhaust with Exhaust Sound Control, Bose® audio system, Active Noise Cancellation, and Active Sound Enhancement. The Track Edition trim offers many of the features found on the Premium Edition trim plus a NISMO-tuned suspension, Carbon-fiber trunk lid, 21-inch NISMO black super-lightweight RAYS® forged-alloy wheels, and a Black/Red interior treatment. The top-of-the-line NISMO® Edition trim offers many of the features found on the Track Edition trim plus NISMO aerodynamic body design - carbon-fiber front and rear fascia, side sills and rear spoiler and NISMO Recaro® leather-appointed front seats with synthetic suede inserts.

A Perfect Blend of Power and Fuel Efficiency

2019 Nissan GT-R Exterior FrontThe 2019 GT-R offers two powertrains. The standard 3.8-liter DOHC 24-valve twin-turbocharged V6 offers up to 565 horsepower. In 0 to 60 miles per hour acceleration tests, the 3.8-liter DOHC 24-valve twin-turbocharged V6 was able to achieve a time of 2.9 seconds. The optional NISMO® tuned 3.8-liter DOHC 24-valve twin-turbocharged V6 offers up to 600 horsepower. In 0 to 60 miles per hour acceleration tests, The NISMO® tuned 3.8-liter DOHC 24-valve twin-turbocharged V6 was able to achieve a time of 2.7 seconds.

Every GT-R model comes with the following standard safety features: Nissan Advanced Airbag System, Driver and Passenger Supplemented Air Bags, Roof-Mounted Curtain Side Impact Airbag System, Vehicle Dynamic Control, Traction Control System, Lower Anchors and Tethers for Children (LATCH) System, Zone Body Construction with Front and Rear Crumple Zones, Energy Absorbing Steering Column, and a Tire Pressure Monitoring System.
