What's New for the 2020 Nissan Rogue?

The 2020 Nissan Rogue continues to be the roomy and high-performing vehicle it has always been. After seeing significant changes in 2019, the Rogue moves into the new year unchanged. The 2020 Rogue is a part of the second generation of this SUV, which first hit the street in 2014.

2020 Rogue Trims & Features

Consumers in the market for new SUV will have three strong choices when it comes to the 2020 Nissan Rogue. The entry-level model is called the S. This SUV is very well equipped when it comes to both tech and safety features. It gives drivers standard Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It also includes a standard 7" touchscreen to control the infotainment system. The rear seats will 40/20/40-split in order to make loading and unloading the Rogue a breeze.

The next trim level up is known as the SV. With this version, drivers get everything the S offered and then some. The SV adds heated front seats, a hands-free power liftgate, a power-adjustable driver's seat, and more. The ultimate Rogue goes by the name of SL. Going with this trim will add navigation to your infotainment system and leather to your seating. It also has larger wheels and Nissan's ProPilot Assist as a standard rather than an optional feature. The ProPilot Assist suite of features is designed to help the Rogue drive semi-automated and includes things such as Steering Assist and Adaptive Cruise Control.

This engine is a 2.5L four-cylinder engine and it will give drivers 170-horsepower and 179 lb-ft of torque. Working with this powerful yet efficient engine is a CVT, or continuously variable transmission. While front-wheel-drive is standard on the 2020 Nissan Rogue, there are all-wheel-drive versions available as well.

Nissan Rogue Safety

2020 Nissan RogueOne of the things that sets the Rogue apart from competitors is the amount of standard safety equipment it gives you. All versions of this safe vehicle include Automatic High Beams, Blind Spot Monitoring, Lane Keep Assist, and Automatic Emergency Braking. If you decide to go with the SV trim level, you will also get Reverse Automatic Braking as well as Rear Parking Sensors. The SL trim level gives you a surround-view camera system to ensure you can see everything around your vehicle.
