What's New For the 2021 Nissan Kicks?
The newest Kicks gets more standard amenities for most trims and an exterior design refresh. The Kicks gets a more contemporary and refined appearance in 2021 with restyled bumpers on both ends with a narrowed and more polished design in front. The headlights are also different for the Kicks this year; they expand along with the front grille. For the top trim, the SR, you'll get elongated LED headlights and a bolder style with a contrast-color roof. The back has a sporty bumper as well.
2021 Nissan Kicks Has Abundant Features
The 2021 Nissan Kicks is produced in three trim levels. The first in the lineup is the S. The SV is the mid-level trim, while the SR trim tops the lineup. Although it's the entry-level Kicks, the S has an interior packed with amenities. This trim offers a seven-inch touchscreen display with a user-friendly design. It has a package of advanced safety aids to start as well. The S has a height-adjustable driver's seat, multiple USB ports, and cloth seats.
Padded armrests and larger wheels with an alloy finish highlight the SV, which is the second trim. It also adds more technology in the form of a driver's display screen with real-time information about the crossover's performance. The SV has an improved infotainment system with an eight-inch screen, Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay.
The top SR trim offers standard paint colors or two-tone color schemes along with the contrasting-colored roof. Its headlights are upgraded to LED bulbs, and it gets fog lights as well. The SR includes roof rails and has the option of cloth or upgraded simulated leather upholstery.

Kicks Performance
Front-wheel drive is the standard drivetrain for the 2021 Nissan Kicks. It comes standard with a regular gasoline engine as the base mechanical system. This engine is a 1.6L with four cylinders. Paired with an automatic transmission, this engine creates just short of 125 HP and 115 LB-FT in torque. There is another mechanical system offered in 2021 too, which is a hybrid powertrain. The hybrid setup is a 1.2L three-cylinder engine matched to a 1.57 kWh battery for a total output of 127 HP.
Packed With Safety Features
The 2021 Nissan Kicks has plenty of safety technology, including six front, side, and driver's knee airbags. It also has a handful of standard driver-assist safety aids, such as forward collision warning, pedestrian detection, rear cross-traffic alert, front and rear parking sensors, cruise control, and automatic emergency braking. The SR trim will also add on a 360-degree camera to help with parking and avoiding hitting objects.
