2021 Nissan Rogue

What's New For the 2021 Nissan Rogue?

In 2021, the Nissan Rogue kicks off the third Rogue generation with plenty of innovation and driving excitement. It comes with an expanded lineup of safety features that includes both standard and available safety equipment. Seating is more comfortable in this year's edition with Nissan's Zero Gravity seats, and the cabin is insulated to block ambient sounds for an overall quieter and more pleasant ride. The 2021 Rogue also gets a modest boost of power thanks to a newly redesigned engine with four cylinders.

2021 Rogue Trims & Features

This year, you'll find the same three trims that were in the previous Rogue lineup, starting with the base called the S, which is followed by the SV and the SL. However, a fourth trim level joins the lineup this year, which is called the Platinum.

The first three trims get a standard eight-inch infotainment screen and a generous dose of safety technology. The Platinum, however, provides upgrades with more creature comforts and luxury. These upgrades include a larger nine-inch infotainment system, an optional 12.3-inch digital instrument display, and standard tri-zone climate control and heated seats. A Bose sound system makes for a luxurious ride, while the top-down camera increases your confidence in all driving conditions.

Nissan Rogue Horsepower

The 2021 Nissan Rogue gets a new, more powerful engine this year. Now, the Rogue comes with a 2.5L engine with four cylinders that creates 181 HP and 181 LB-FT of torque. Although it uses the same engine, this is an improvement over the previous year's engine with a maximum power output of 175 HP. The 2021 Nissan Rogue still has a continuously variable automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is offered as standard and all-wheel drive is available on all trims.

2021 Nissan Rogue Safety

If you're in the market for a safe vehicle this year, the 2021 Rogue is the right choice. The Nissan Rogue gets a Safety Shield 360 suite of driving assist safety tools on all trim levels. This safety package features lane departure warning, blind-spot monitoring, automatic front braking, automatic braking in the back, and forward-collision warning. On all trims except the base, you can also get the ProPILOT Assist feature that adds automatic lane centering and adaptive cruise control to the lengthy list of amenities. A more advanced and intuitive safety system is standard on the Platinum trim level and is available on the SL.
