What's New For the 2022 Nissan Pathfinder?
In 2022, the ever-popular Nissan Pathfinder hits the ground running with all kinds of updates and changes. The Nissan's changes are apparent at first glance with a comprehensive redesign that starts with an innovative and dynamic exterior. Now the Nissan Pathfinder gets an intriguing floating roofline that gives it a more futuristic and dimensional appearance. Trailer sway control is added to the Nissan this year, and it has a new nine-speed transmission. Interior upgrades for the 2022 Pathfinder include a more extensive and more interactive 12.3-inch digital touchscreen interface. With Nissan's new seven-position drive selector mode, it's easier to get to the places you want to go.
2022 Pathfinder Has Abundant Features
The 2022 Nissan Pathfinder is produced in the same four trim levels as before, but you'll find various amenities and features. The entry-level trim for the Nissan Pathfinder is the S, followed by the SV, the SL, and the Platinum. The S now comes with Nissan's full set of advanced safety aids called Safety Shield 360. There are also three zones for climate control with the new Nissan Pathfinder, and it has an eight-inch infotainment system with Bluetooth, Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay.
The SV has some additional luxuries, including a leather steering wheel. With the SL trim, which is third from the base, you will get heated seats in both the front and back rows. Leather seats are standard, beginning with this trim level, which also gets navigation. Topping the line is the Platinum with more luxuries, including an entertainment system in the back row and a panoramic sunroof. A head-up display is offered on the Nissan Pathfinder for the 2022 model year, and you can now upgrade to a larger and more visible 12.3-inch display.
Pathfinder Performance
The Nissan Pathfinder has the same engine in 2022 as before, giving the SUV a class-leading tow rating of 6,000 pounds. The Nissan has a gasoline engine with an automatic transmission. Its maximum power capability is 284 HP, and it can get up to 259 LB-FT of torque. New for 2022 is an intelligent four-wheel drive with various drive modes to help you conquer all the conditions nature brings your way.
Which Safety Features Are Available on the Nissan Pathfinder?
Nissan's Safety Shield 360 package is included across the Pathfinder lineup for 2022. The comprehensive package has lane departure warning, high beam assist, blind-spot warning, rear automatic braking, rear cross-traffic alert, and automatic emergency braking.
