Nissan’s first-ever hybrid isn’t just electrifying consumers who are anxiously awaiting its arrival – it’s also capturing the eye of critics. The Rogue Hybrid has been named a finalist for Green Car Journal’s 2017 Green SUV of the Year award, earning a shot at the prize with its exceptional fuel economy, as well as its stellar combination of connectivity features, practicality and stylish looks.
Official word regarding the winner will be announced on Jan. 26, 2017, at the Washington Auto Show. We’re crossing our fingers for the new hybrid, which is competing against the Honda CR-V, BMW X5 xDrive40e iPerformance, Mercedes-Benz GLE550e and Mazda CX-9.
The 2017 Nissan Rogue Hybrid goes on sale in Los Angeles County soon and we can’t wait to get our hands on it. We’ve written about the model before, and at the time, hadn’t foreseen that it would earn the honor of being named a finalist in the Green Car awards. This is a testament to the success of its design and advanced hybrid powertrain, which delivers a superior EPA-estimated 33 city/35 highway/34 combined mpg rating (with front-wheel drive).
If the Rogue Hybrid wins, you can bet you’ll hear about it in an upcoming newsletter – so stay tuned! To check out current models of the Nissan Rogue for sale in Cerritos, CA, browse our inventory online.
