Nissan has unveiled the Z GT4, a race car for amateur and professional drivers.

Based on the Nissan 370Z road car, the GT4-spec Z has been developed by NISMO, Nissan's motorsports arm. It features a new chassis, a 450-horsepower engine, and racing tires.

Originally launched in the 1980s for a rapidly growing customer base, the Nissan Maxima has gained legendary status in the United States of America and other international markets. As it entered its eighth generation on the American marketplace in 2016, the full-size sedan already struggled to compete against other top rivals on a domestic scale. Low sales figures in recent years have certainly accelerated the decline of the Maxima. Therefore, Nissan will officially discontinue the production of this premium sedan in the middle of 2023.
